Dr. Beth Arnold

Owner; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Beth Arnold has been a native of Strongsville since 1975. She obtained her first degree from The Ohio State University in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising in 1993. After working for an advertising agency for several years, Beth decided to take a chance and follow her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

She quit her job and went back to school to earn the necessary prerequisites to apply to vet school. During that time, she became a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and focused on baby bunnies, squirrels and birds. By some small miracle, Beth was accepted into The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She achieved her dream, earning her DVM in 2002.

Beth has focused on treating dogs, cats and furry exotics throughout her career; in 1995, she spent one year practicing with an avian specialist and at the Akron Zoo. She works with Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, local wildlife rehabilitators, Stearns Homestead and is a Board Member of The Buckeye House Rabbit Society. Beth is a member of AVMA, OVMA, AAFP, VIN, and AEMV.  She is Fear Free and Feline Friendly certified. Beyond her love of dogs, she has a special interest in senior feline medicine, animal behavior, dentistry and furry exotic and wildlife medicine.

Currently, Beth’s home consists of her husband, two children, two cats (Puff and Mushie), one rabbit (Hop Hop), one bird (Kiwi) and fish. When she is not at her practice, Beth is likely watching her sons play sports, at a music venue, or riding with her husband on their Harley.

Dr. Jacquelyn Chorba

Associate; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Jacquelyn Chorba grew up in North Olmsted, but is currently a resident of Strongsville. She has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters, that are sprinkled around the states. She has one kitty, Maisy, who is 11. Maisy was a stray that Dr. Chorba rescued and they have been together ever since.

Dr. Chorba received her first degree from Bowling Green in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2008 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2012. She began practicing in Fremont, Ohio at a mixed animal practice (large and small animal).  Before joining Small Miracles Animal Hospital in 2023, she spent 7 years practicing at a small animal clinic in Parma, OH where she met Dr. Arnold. Both doctors quickly realized they shared the same philosophies and views when practicing medicine. This has enabled both doctors to form and benefit from a wonderful mentor/protege relationship to deliver the best medicine possible.

Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is getting to know all her amazing patients and their families.  Her dedication to her clients allows her to become an integral part of those families over time. She relishes educating owners about medical issues and preventative care to provide the best life for their furry family. Her special interests include feline medicine, surgery, and client education.

Dr. Chorba is a member of OVMA, AVMA, AAFP, VIN, Cleveland Academy and Vet Girl.  She is Level I & II Fear Free certified and plans to obtain her Recover CPR Basic & Advanced Life Support certification.

In her spare time, she enjoys snuggling with her cat Maisy, running, selling Color Street, and crafting.
