Jordan
Veterinary Assistant + Client Patient Liasion
Jordan grew up and still lives in the town of Wadsworth. She has 1 son and 1 daughter, plus 2 cats, Ruger (kitty kitty), and Henry.
Jordan's first job was as an STNA for roughly 5 years. She loved her residents and was debating between studying nursing or something in the animal field. They say "listen to your elders," and her residents encouraged her to go for her passion. They said doing what you love won’t always feel like work, it will always be more rewarding, and reminded her passion has always been for animals. They were right.
Jordan graduated from Stauzenberger College with a vet tech degree, and she is Fear Free Certified. She has worked with large animals, domestics, and exotics in practice and ER. Her favorite was working with birds of prey and wild animals, including doing laser therapy on a falcon, radiographs on many hawks, vultures and owls, and bottle feeding infant squirrels/opossums/bunnies.
When not at work, Jordan enjoys kayaking, hiking, table top board games, video games, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cooking. She is currently working on what she needs to do to take the VTNE, and hopes to do wildlife rehab in the future.
