Julie

Veterinary Assistant

Julie grew up in Strongsville and is presently living in Medina with her husband and two children.  Julie has always been an animal lover and currently has two dogs, Luna and Isla, and two cats, Erimen and Murray.  She began her veterinary assistant position at St. Francis Animal Hospital over twenty years ago when she stopped in to see if they were hiring.

Julie is a great veterinary assistant who excels in the Fear Free realm.  If anyone needs snacks for their frightened animal, Julie is there to make sure they have a variety of choices to help calm them and always has towels with calming spray available.  She is requested specifically by clients to trim their pets nails because she knows how to handle them. She is also fabulous with client education and will take as much time as needed to go over instructions and medications. 

Her philosophy mirrors that of Small Miracles, making her an integral part of the team from day one. and jumped right in to the Fear Free practices.  She is looking forward to getting her Fear Free certification.

On the weekends, she enjoys paddle boarding and camping with her family.  In her free-time, she enjoys baking (and loves to spoil us!), running, reading and scrapbooking.
