Veterinary Technician

Alex grew up in Strongsville and is a SHS alumni.  Currently, she happily resides in Fairview Park with her boyfriend, 3 dogs, Marley, Luna, and Scoob and two cats, Jaxson and Meeko.

After high school, Alex initially pursued a nursing degree at BGSU, but had a change of heart. The human-animal bond was something she had always found so special, something to be nurtured and cherished.   She followed her heart and began her journey in veterinary medicine, in the hopes of helping to strengthen that bond, while helping animals.

Alex graduated from Stautzenberger College in Maumee, OH in 2016, earning her degree as a veterinary technician. Not long after, she became a part of the St. Francis family.  Alex is Fear Free certified and she has a calming, patient approach with our patients.  She has a natural way with our feline patients and can often help them relax during their visits. She is an asset in surgery as well, you may find her gently recovering our anesthetic patients and her technical skills are outstanding.

When Alex is not working, she loves being outdoors.  She enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling.
