Sara

Client-Patient Liaison, Veterinary Assistant

Sara grew up in Garfield Hts. with her family which includes her two older sisters. Sara’s love for pets is obvious due to the size of her mini zoo! She has two bunnies, Oliver and Opi, and two cats, Murphy and Darwin. She obtained her associates degree and is currently working toward her bachelors in Zoology.

Sara may be the first smiling face you see when you walk in Small Miracles Animal Hospital.  She loves being the voice for the clients and ensuring their needs are met.  She is great at trouble shooting over the phone and always tries to get our sick pets in as soon as possible.  Sara is also interested in obtaining her veterinary technician license; therefore, you may find her helping as an assistant in rooms.  She does a little bit of everything.  She has been in the veterinary field for approximately 4 years and has a special interest in animal behavior.  She is Fear Free Certified and working on becoming a trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy.

Sara previously worked with Dr. Arnold for a short time and with Dr. Chorba for several years.  What drew her to join Dr. Chorba at Small Miracles Animal Hospital, was the shared vision of what veterinary medicine should be, which was the same as the doctors for whom she worked. She loves helping people, especially with training and behavior modification, and understands how rewarding it is to help a pet or its family.  We are so happy to have her as a part of our team!

In her spare time, Sara loves trying new things, spending time with friends, cooking, going for walks, reading and having game nights.
