Starr

Veterinary Assistant

Starr grew up in Wadsworth and still resides there with her husband and two children.  She has a myriad of animals including three dogs, Sheila, Ashlee, Bella; two cats, Patch and Dominic; and two hamsters, Moon and Otis.

Starr has always had a passion for animals and started her first veterinary job in high school as a kennel assistant and moved her way up the ranks.  She left the field for a few years and during that time was trained in human cardiac ultrasound and became a licensed phlebotomist.   Starr returned to veterinary medicine because nothing else felt more like home to her than helping animals.

Starr came to Small Miracles with Dr. Arnold.  She had been the lead in surgery at their previous practice. Starr goes above and beyond and is always ready to jump in and assist with any animal.  She is also great at dentistry radiographs and can obtain nearly perfect films all the time. She is Fear Free Certified and currently obtaining her Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Vet.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her kids, friends and has a lot of family gatherings.  Starr and her family are looking forward to traveling the USA in their new camper.  She can’t wait to meet you and your pets.
