Practice Manager

Crystal grew up in Wadsworth and lives there currently with her husband of 12 years, their daughter and 3 rescue dogs, Bear, Allie and Leaf. She is the youngest of 9 siblings. Crystal began her career in veterinary medicine in 2004 working at a veterinary hospital as a kennel assistant. Over the past 19 years, she has held a variety of jobs where she has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field, finally elevating herself to practice manager. She is passionate about providing the highest quality care to all animals and is dedicated to promoting their well-being.

 

Crystal worked with Dr. Arnold at their previous practice as an office manager. Together, they discussed the dream of having a practice where decisions could be made based on need and not money. Where actions revolved around the patients and the clients. When Dr. Arnold was considering the purchase, she asked Crystal to consider taking a leap of faith and come as the practice manager. Crystal was Dr. Arnold’s right hand and had the same vision for a fear free gentle practice, grounded in honesty and love.  

 

Crystal currently serves as our Practice Manager and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital, staffing, finances, and patient care. You will often see Crystal in the rooms, at the front desk or helping in surgery as she continues to love the hands on aspect of veterinary medicine. She ensures this team is more than just a team, but rather a family that works together to take care of all our patients. Crystal is also Fear Free certified, Animal CPR certified and in school for her RVT license and working toward her CVPM license as well.

 

In her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family and dogs at the park, geocaching and going to escape rooms. Their daughter is in Girl Scouts, where Crystal enjoys volunteering her time.
